Guiding your boys in making choices in life is the best bet. They get to be independent early enough. Parents need to resist the urge of wanting to choose for their wards.
Although making choices for them saves time, saves you some stress and maybe money too. They also don’t get to make any silly mistakes. But then again, how would they understand the consequences of making bad choices?
They need to learn independent decision-making and the importance of making prompt decisions. When you choose for them every single time, you also come across as a dictator. Guide them to making great choices instead.
