A thought crossed my mind recently and this is about the average 21st century parent who boasts of how they believed spanking worked for them. How their parents spanked them for every error and argues this shaped them to becoming who they are .Well here is my thought in form of a question.
Have you noticed that the same parents that spanked you unapologetically will not do same for your children,they will even discourage you from doing same.
Why is this?
Here is my opinion ;the older they get, the more convinced they have become that they shouldnt have really spanked you that much.They can now see that most of the spanking were out of anger for the offence or act.Real correction and discipline has to be isolated from spanking.
